4 more scenes

I seem to be slowing down because I didn't have time to write for the past few days. It took me awhile to cook up another 4 more scenes today. I hope that this excitement doesn't dwindle... I have got to finish this novel.

More Progress made today

I managed to outline another 6 scenes today and it's getting more fun cooking up the details. I think I can do it. I think I can complete this novel. As at now, the affair has finally taken place and I'm sending the main character for a hell ride of guilt, lies and more temptation.
The prey is very weak and the huntress is getting bolder. Unknown to him, he has unleashed something hidden in this seemingly helpless woman. She is vindictive and she will stop at nothing to get what she wants. Oh dear. I love it! I didn't know I could come up with that! I can't wait to write more scenes.

As at now, the word count says 923 and this is just the first outline. I have yet to expand each point further. Wish me luck on this exciting journey.

The Planning continues

Listing the scenes for just one character doesn't work. I realize that I work better when I start listing all the scenes as in the story. I'm proud to say that I've gone as far as to outline 16 scenes to date. I've made sure that they follow the right rules of story writing. I've more scenes to work on.

I've yet to work on the character sketches and the places because I prefer to list the points of the story before I get to those details. I already have an idea how the characters look like now.

I have an idea of how Nicolette's house will look. I can already visualize the white mansion and the pool. And Jake's apartment...

Enough said. I need to finish writing all the scenes and I have many more to go. With my busy schedule I will try to outline 2 scenes per day. Wish me luck in completing this story outline.

Getting Back to Basics

I've decided to give it a try again after a few weeks of not attempting anything. I had spent the past few days re-reading books on novel writing and now it's time to start the planning again. I'm at a lost. At first I had wanted to start building the setting and the characters. But now I feel I also need to build the story plot all at the same time. So here's what I'll do, I'll start by listing the scenes for one character first and move from there. Perhaps I might be able to get something started based on that. Wish me luck.

Planning

Breaking the tasks into smaller manageable parts. I think I can try...

Sigh...

It's hard getting started. It's not easy to even plan that novel and get it moving. There were so many distractions. Too many ideas, too many other stuff. I really want to get something going. I need a schedule of some sort. This is agonizing.

My Intended Protagonist

I don't know why but I intend to start building the character of the antagonist first. I want readers to pity her but is that allowable? She the third party and she's about to tear a married man's family apart. But wait a minute. Isn't the guy( my intended protagonist) at fault too? After all, he allowed himself to stray and cheat... Perhaps I should just work on her story first and see it goes.

Trying To Get Organized

Ok how do you get yourself organized with your writing? I tried scribbling on loose leaf paper and I also bought some notebooks but I've not used that yet. I'm at the stage where I'm trying to find what works best for me. I still can't figure. In my mind, I would like to start off with creating my villain first. Let's see how this goes...

No progress

I can't seem to kick start that novel that I want to write. I wonder why it is so hard to just get it going. I really want a story out by Christmas. Is it possible? At the rate I'm going, it's not going to be easy.
